Dear African IGF Community,
The Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) Secretariat, in consultation with the AfIGF Charter, is pleased to invite applications for the AfIGF Nominating Committee (NomCom).
The NomCom is an independent committee responsible for selecting ten (10) new and/or renewed members of the AfIGF Multi-Stakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) in accordance with the Africa IGF Charter.
The NomCom will consist of five (05) members representing the five African sub-regions.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for NomCom membership, candidates must:
- Be a citizen of one of the five African sub-regions;
- Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of Internet Governance issues;
- Not be a current member of the AfIGF MAG;
- Not be a candidate for AfIGF MAG membership during the same selection cycle.
