The Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) Secretariat is pleased to invite nominations for the 2027 Africa IGF Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG).
The AfIGF MAG plays an important role in supporting the planning of the annual Africa IGF process. We would like to express our appreciation to all past and present MAG members for their continued commitment, valuable guidance, and contributions towards strengthening inclusive multistakeholder dialogue on Internet governance and digital policy issues across Africa.
On behalf of the Africa IGF Secretariat, nominations are invited from all stakeholder groups for membership to the Africa IGF MAG for 2027.
The Nomination Committee (NomCom) will consider stakeholder diversity, regional balance, gender balance, and inclusive representation in the composition of the MAG.
Successful nominees will serve as members of the Africa IGF MAG in accordance with the AfIGF Charter (available here)
Interested stakeholders are kindly invited to submit nominations. Self-nominations are also encouraged through the online submission form available on the website before the indicated deadline.
