The Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) Secretariat, in collaboration with the host country, invites media professionals and media organizations wishing to cover the 15th Africa Internet Governance Forum to apply for media accreditation.
Accredited media will have access to designated Forum sessions, media activities and relevant information to support their coverage of AfIGF 2026.
Please complete this form with accurate information. Submission of the form does not automatically guarantee accreditation. Approved applicants will receive confirmation from the AfIGF Secretariat in coordination with the host.
Why Register for Media Accreditation?
Obtaining official Media Accreditation ensures that you stay connected to every major milestone and announcement before, during, and after the forum.
Accredited media representatives receive:
- Exclusive Access: Direct access to press releases, official event content, and media packages.
- Real-time Updates: Priority press updates throughout the conference.
- Briefings & Interviews: Invitations to official media briefings and press conferences with key policymakers, digital innovators, and international leaders.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Dual-Step Registration Required
Please read carefully to ensure seamless access to the venue and content.
Media accreditation through the Media Accreditation Form and physical entry to the conference center are handled through two distinct steps:
- Step 1: Media Accreditation Form: Completing the Media Accreditation Form registers you with the press team to receive approved media updates, event content, and briefing access.
- Step 2: Main Event Registration Pass (Mandatory for On-Site Access)PLEASE NOTE: Media accreditation alone does NOT grant physical entry to the venue. (If you have already registered for the Badge and have approval, register only for the media accreditation)
To obtain your physical badge and enter the event center, you MUST complete your official main event registration pass via the United Nations Indico Portal.
Failure to register on the official UN Indico system will prevent you from receiving your physical access badge at the event center.
