The 7th African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF 2018) took place from 4th to 6th December 2018 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, alongside the global IGF. It convened African stakeholders to assess the continent’s progress in Internet governance and align regional efforts with global digital development goals. Key focus areas included emerging technologies, digital inclusion, cybersecurity, and the role of youth and women in the digital space.
