The Africa Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) Secretariat is pleased to announce the selected sessions for AfIGF 2024. From a competitive pool of 122 submissions across 9 thematic areas, the Multistakeholder Advisory Group (MAG) has carefully chosen 43 sessions that represent a broad range of perspectives and insights into Africa’s digital landscape.
This year’s accepted sessions highlight key topics such as Emerging Technologies, Digital Rights, Universal Access, Data Governance, and Cybersecurity, offering a platform for dialogue on the pressing digital issues across the continent. These sessions will take place from November 20 to 22, 2024, at the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Additionally, sessions on the waiting list have also been recognized for their valuable contributions and will be considered for inclusion if additional slots become available. We invite all stakeholders to explore the session lists below and join us at AfIGF 2024 to engage in shaping Africa’s digital future.
