The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) invites all stakeholders to take part in shaping the IGF 2026 process. Through this open call for thematic input, individuals and organizations from all stakeholder groups and regions of the world are invited to share their perspectives on the most relevant emerging issues, priorities, and challenges in the governance of digital technologies. Contributions will help inform the overarching theme, subthemes, intersessional work and overall programme development of the 21st annual IGF meeting.
Inputs can be submitted via the form below until 28 February 2026, 23:59 UTC and will be posted on the IGF website as received.
The IGF Secretariat will analyze all submissions to support a transparent, bottom-up process for developing the thematic framework guiding IGF 2026.

IGF intersessional work, which includes Policy Networks (PNs) and Best Practice Forums (BPFs), provides an opportunity for the global community to engage in sustained, open, and multistakeholder dialogue on key internet and digital policy issues between annual IGF meetings. These activities aim to foster shared understanding, identify best practices, and develop non-binding, consensus-oriented outputs that can inform policy discussions at the global, regional, and national levels.
The IGF invites interested stakeholders to submit proposals for the IGF 2026 intersessional work, which will be reviewed by the MAG as part of its preparations for IGF 2026.
Interested Stakeholders can submit a proposal through this form by 28 February 2026, 23:59 UTC.
