Welcome to 2024 Africa Internet Governance Forum

This year’s African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) will be held at the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), where internet stakeholders from across the region and around the world will meet from 20 to 22 November 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The Africa IGF will bring together stakeholders from various sectors, including government, civil society, private sector, technical communities, and academia. The forum will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and exchanging ideas on crucial Internet Governance issues in the African region.

Main Track Sessions for IGF 2024

Building Our Multistakeholder Digital Future for Africa".

The 13th African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF 2024), taking place from November 20 to 22nd, 2024. Join us as we explore the theme of "Building Our Multistakeholder Digital Future for Africa".

The parliamentarian session is scheduled to hold on 20th November 2024. Regional consultations/roundtables will hold with African members of parliaments (MPs) with the involvement of MPs from other regions.

The African School on Internet Governance (AfriSIG) is scheduled for 14 - 19 November 2024.

Africa Youth IG Summit, scheduled for 20th November 2024, would gather youth from across the African region to discuss important issues on Internet Governance central to young people.
