The draft agenda included high-level panels, multi-stakeholder sessions, and thematic tracks on digital inclusion, data privacy, cybersecurity, emerging technologies, and access. Special attention was given to youth engagement, gender equality, and building digital trust across the continent.
The 10th African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF 2021) marked a decade of regional dialogue on Internet governance issues in Africa. Held virtually from 4th to 6th November 2021, the forum brought together policymakers, civil society, youth, academia, private sector, and technical experts to deliberate on Africa’s evolving digital landscape.
