The inaugural African Internet Governance Forum (AfIGF) was held from 2nd to 4th October 2012 in Cairo, Egypt. The event brought together stakeholders from across the continent to launch a continental platform for dialogue on Internet governance issues, aligned with global IGF processes. The Draft Agenda focused on key thematic areas such as access, cybersecurity, and regional cooperation.
