2023 Africa Internet Governance Forum
The Federal Government of Nigeria warmly welcomes Internet Stakeholders from across the globe to the prestigious 2023 Africa Internet Governance Forum, taking place in Abuja, Nigeria from September 19th to 21st.
The 2023 Africa IGF will bring together stakeholders from various sectors, including government, civil society, private sector, technical communities, and academia. This forum will serve as a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and exchanging ideas on crucial Internet Governance issues in the African region.
Focus
Under the theme of "Transforming Africa's Digital Landscape: Empowering Inclusion, Security, and Innovation," the Africa IGF aims to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the rapidly evolving digital landscape. It focuses on empowering inclusivity, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures, and promoting innovation across the continent.
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of sessions, workshops, and panel discussions led by industry experts and thought leaders. Delegates are advised to arrive to Nigeria at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (IATA: ABV), located in Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria.

Parliamentarian Symposium
The parliamentarian session is scheduled to hold from 18th - 19th SepÂtember 2023. Regional consultations/roundtables will hold with African members of parliaments (MPs) with the involvement of MPs from other regions.

African School on IG (AfriSIG)
The 11th African School on Internet Governance (AfriSIG) is scheduled for 13th - 18th September 2023, focusing on the African Union Data Policy Framework.

Africa Youth IGF Summit
Africa Youth IG Summit would gather Youths from over the regions to discuss important issues on Internet Governance that Affect Youths.
